Best Buy Seeing Lower Profits from HDTVs

Best Buy said in its third quarter earnings report this week that average selling prices for LCD flat-panel displays were down 25 percent year-over-year and plasma ASPs were down 30 percent from last year, both of which combined with aggressive promotional pricing led to lower profits for the retail giant.
