World's Largest HDTV Debuts in Atlanta

Mitsubishi put out a release yesterday crowing over its 5,600 square foot HDTV that will debut at Atlanta's Turner Field next month. The 71-feet high by 79-feet wide Diamond Vision monster weighs in at 50 tons and has more than five million LED lights. According to the Guinness Book of World Records, it's the largest outdoor high-definition display in the world (which would seemingly make it the largest HD display period, or so one would think). The 400,000-watt screen will be cooled by 10 fans and will show replays, highlights and video animations to Atlanta Braves baseball fans during home games.
