Discovery's "Planet Earth" Sets Ratings Records

Arguably the most spectacular production ever made for television, Discovery HD Theater's Planet Earth was also one of the most watched. Excluding sports and news, Planet Earth was the most-viewed program in cable history.

If you watched any of the series, you like me are probably not surprised at this report. Every single HDTV owner should have been watching this series, and judging by the numbers, I'd say most of them were.
